From October 14 to 18, Peaceland Foundation participated in the APMCDRR in Manila, Philippines, where it introduced its rescue efforts and Global Emergency Response Capacity Building Program. As an NGO addressing humanitarian and environmental crises, Peaceland has extended its efforts to over 30 countries. During its operations, Peaceland identified the urgent need to strengthen disaster resilience in vulnerable regions.
In alignment with the vision of building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind, Peaceland launched the Global Emergency Response Capacity Building Program. The initiative focuses on improving emergency response capabilities in disaster-prone areas with limited rescue resources, responding to the UN's call for greater disaster resilience. Through tailored training programs, Peaceland enhances local disaster early warning systems, raises community awareness, and improves rescue skills. To date, Peaceland has conducted 11 capacity-building training sessions in 8 countries, customized to local needs and disaster-specific challenges.
At APMCDRR, Peaceland engaged in discussions with global partners on the importance of inclusive disaster risk reduction strategies. In the face of increasingly frequent natural disasters driven by climate change, no country can confront these complex challenges alone. We sincerely invite international organizations, government agencies, and private sectors to join us in building a safer and more resilient world.
